Corey Franklin, new coach for the women’s basketball team, is on a roll with a record of 10 wins and 7 losses as of press time on January 24. Yanette Feagin from Mansfield, Ohio, the 59110 Sophomore All-American point guard, led the Stormers with a whopping 32 points against DuPage. Even though the Women Stormers are short of a full team they show a lot of heart.According to Coach Franklin, “this is a tough minded, strong team; they got a shot at conference, but as a team their ultimate goal is to go to nationals.”

The two returning players, Alyssa Jensen and Yanette Feagin, are ranked in the top 50 in scoring in their conference. “Overall the team is eager to learn,” Franklin said.

Assistant Coach Renaldo Franklin stated, “This is the toughest female team I’ve been around.” The team is still looking for players.
