Preview – 2022 Spring Graduation Issue
MATCs Director of Public Safety, Aisha Barkow, provides six tips that may help you avoid becoming a victim of auto theft. Nearly 2,500 cars have been stolen in the City so far this year. Last month Milwaukee Police Department Captain James Campbell referred to the increase in automobile break-ins and thefts as an epidemic. Car brands Kia and Hyundai continue to be the car of choice for thieves, however, Barkows theft preventive tips are aimed at helping all car owners. Print edition preview – Spring 2022 Graduation Issue
Thirteen artists were selected for the Colleges 2022 Community Arts Collection including photography instructor John Glembin. His proposal for the collection consists of creating photographs of his students using the wet-plate collodion process. A technique created in 1851 that requires the use of chemicals, glass plates and a darkroom. The works of all artists selected for 2022 will be unveiled in the Fall. Read more about Glembin and the other artists selected for the Community Arts Collection in the upcoming print edition of the MATC Times.

Family+and+friends+enjoy+skating+at+Red+Arrow+Park+in+downtown+Milwaukee.+You+can+skate+for+FREE+if+you+bring+your+own+ice+skates%2C+otherwise+you+can+rent+skates.+The+rink%2C+located+at+920+N.+Water+St.%2C+is+open+at+11+a.m.+daily+for+those+who+have+their+own+skates.+

Family and friends enjoy skating at Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee. You can skate for FREE if you bring your own ice skates, otherwise you can rent skates. The rink, located at 920 N. Water St., is open at 11 a.m. daily for those who have their own skates.

Looking for your last chance for some winter fun?  Try skating at Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee, or skiing and snowboarding at Little Switzerland Ski Hill in Slinger. Spring is coming quickly and you don’t want to miss out on what’s left of the wintertime action!

MATC Times photographer Iryna Levit was able to capture a beautiful preview of what your day could look like, if you do choose to partake.
