There was a Veterans Day event at the Downtown Campus on Tuesday evening to honor those who have served in the U.S. military. The celebration for Veterans, students, faculty and staff occurred in the Create Gallery on the first floor of the M Building.
In an email to the MATC community, President Cruz stated: “As a technical college whose mission is to provide education that transforms lives, industry and community, we recognize that serving those who have served us is central to our mission. We are deeply committed to providing veterans and their families with the specialized support and education they need to transition their valuable skills and dedication into successful careers. Our student veterans are helping to drive the economic mobility and social vitality of Southeast Wisconsin.”
