I am a collaborator and storyteller who enjoys engaging with college students. I have more than 20 years of experience in higher education where I mentored student media staff and taught courses in journalism and digital media. In addition, I have more than a decade of experience in media and communications. My work has ranged from writing blogs and launching two podcasts to having my stories air locally and nationally on National Public Radio (NPR).

The 2023–2024 academic year will be one of rebuilding this award-winning organization, which has been without an adviser for several years. The hardworking and dedicated staff will receive all the credit, and I am here to assist them in any way that I can.
