Two Stormers make All-Conference, All-Region Teams

Congratulations to Alex Wurm and David Stevens for being named Second Team All-Region (NJCAA Region IV), and receiving North Central Community College Conference (N4C) honors.

Sophomore shortstop Alex Wurm started in all 45 games this season and led the team in batting average (.371), hits (56), runs scored (33), extra base hits (20), and slugging average (.530). With his 56 hits this season, Wurm became the single-season-hits record holder at MATC. He turned in one of the most productive seasons in program history. Wurm was named First Team All-Conference (N4C) and Second Team All-Region (NJCAA Region IV).

Sophomore David Stevens also started all 45 games for the Stormers in center field. He finished the season with a batting average of .319, and he led the team in RBIs (22) and stolen bases (15). Stevens was named Second Team All-Conference (N4C) and Second Team All-Region (NJCAA Region IV).
