The Stormers Women’s Tennis Team is working hard in practice and showing much improvement as the season progresses. The team is young with only one returning player from last season, Jess Berlin.
Kamilla Mamedova (1 singles/1 doubles) at 1 singles has 2 wins. Mamedova along with Paige Rohrbach (2 singles/1 doubles) at 1 doubles also has 2 wins. Aisha Kaabachi (4 singles/ 2 doubles) and Jess Berlin (5 singles/2 doubles) have played some strong matches. Unfortunately, Erin Morearty (3 singles) suffered a season ending knee injury.
I’m looking forward to the team continuing to improve as the team gets closer to the Region 4 Tournament.
