MATC Stormers’ (guard/forward) Shelton Williams-Dryden was named the NJCAA Region 4 – (Midwest B District) tournament’s Most Valuable Player following the Stormers’ victory over Bryant & Stratton College in the championship game on Saturday, March 9.

Williams-Dryden dominated for our Stormers during the tournament. He put on a clinic and averaged 23.6 points and 11.3 rebounds per game during tournament play. Congratulations to this phenomenal sophomore and the awesome cast of teammates aboard.

On Monday, March 18, our #6 seed MATC Stormers look to continue their 8-0 hot winning streak, rolling on to face our first opponent in the NJCAA Mens Division II Championship Tournament bracket, the #11 Iowa Lakes Lakers.

I'm an avid reader and writer, as well as a published author.  I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and after spending some time in Los Angeles, California, I'm now back home in Milwaukee. I am attending MATC to pursue a career in business management. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, and reading nonfiction novels and self-help books related to business. I also volunteer at times due to my passion for reading. Reading, in my view, is the gateway to life and understanding. I am grateful for the opportunity here at MATC as a student and member of the MATC Times. I look forward to bringing you the exciting, entertaining, and educational side of literature through the Book Corner.
