On Sept. 16 at the MATC Downtown Milwaukee campus cafeteria, the Military Education Support Office (MESO) held the Fall 2015 Connection Reception. Donna Shepard, chief of staff for state senator Lena Taylor, greeted the student veterans and expressed to them to use the benefits they have earned.

On Sept.15, in room M605 at the MATC Downtown Milwaukee campus, Derek Felton, keynote speaker for U.S. Bank, headed the U.S. Bank Financial Genius Tour. He educated students about credit, loans, $5000 scholarship opportunity and keeping finances in order. Felton (above) holds $100 to give away to a lucky student who completed the survey for the tour. Gift cards also were given out.
